Lucy Hood
RSPCA Assured field assessor
Lucy Hood is an RSPCA Assured assessor and assesses the welfare of laying hens, pullets and meat chickens. She’ll soon be adding turkeys to the list!
She has a BSc (Hons) in bioveterinary science from Harper Adams University and an MSc in business for agri-food and rural enterprise from Queen’s University Belfast.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys staying active at the gym and travelling and has recently started growing her own vegetables.
She also loves walking her dogs, Molly and Barney, and relaxing with her cat, Paddy.
When she does eventually sit down to relax, Lucy likes nothing more than catching up with friends over a coffee.
