The RSPCA Assured farming and technical engagement team is here to help if you have any questions about the RSPCA’s welfare standards. Our experienced technical experts offer advice and practical support, whether you’re seeking assistance with current or future standards. They have a wealth of experience and are ready to give guidance when you need it – no question is too small.

How to apply

To get started, simply complete our enquiry form.

Once we’ve received your form, a member of our membership services team will be in touch.

We’ll then send you an invoice. As soon as that’s paid, one of our assessors will contact you to arrange your first assessment.

Certificates

When it’s been confirmed that you’ve met the RSPCA’s welfare standards, you’ll receive a membership certificate.

New members: you’ll get an email confirmation, plus an invitation to join the members’ portal, where you can download your certificate

Renewing members: every year, you’ll need to renew your membership and have another assessment. Once your renewal is confirmed, you’ll be able to log into the members’ portal and download your new certificate.

We’ll send you two reminders before your certificate expires – one two months before, and another one month before. So you’ll have plenty of time to renew.

Total sample size was 2,139 adults. Fieldwork was undertaken between 16 to 17 July 2025 by YouGov Plc.. The survey was carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all UK adults (aged 18+).
