Justine Pearce
RSPCA Assured welfare improvement manager
With a lifelong passion for animals, Justine has a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science from the Royal Agricultural University, and MSc in Animal Behaviour from Exeter University, and PhD in Poultry Behaviour and Welfare from Royal Veterinary College.
Before joining us at RSPCA Assured, Justine worked at Animal Plant Health Agency as a higher scientific advisor for animal welfare policy and Compassion in World Farming where she was a project manager for free farrowing.
Justine’s passion for animals doesn’t end with the working day. She spends most of her free time with her ex-racing greyhound and two ex-racehorses, one of which is happily retired, while the other is on his re-training journey.
