Margherita Pizza


  • 500g strong white bread flour
  • 1 x 7g sachet yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 jar of tomato passata
  • balls of mozzarella

Cooking Method

Step 1: Preheat your oven to maximum temperature

Step 2: Mix the flour, yeast, oil and salt in a big bowl and mix to form a dough

Step 3: Tip onto a dusted surface and knead for 10 minutes, or mix with a bread mixer

Step 4: Put the dough into a large bowl and leave to rise. About 90 minutes or until doubled in size

Step 5: Place on a surface and divide into four equal balls

Step 6: Allow to rest and then roll flat

Step 7: Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper

Step 8: Apply the tomato passata and mozzarella

Step 8:Bake for 10 minutes, until crisp and golden on top
