French Toast

 

Ingredients

  • 4 RSPCA Assured eggs
  • 4 thick slices of bread
  • Toppings of your choice
    • maple syrup
    • honey
    • caster sugar
    • ketchup

Cooking Method

Step 1: Crack the eggs into a large flat bowl and whisk with a little salt

Step 2: Lay your out bread slices, one by one, in the mix and allow them to soak it up. If you’re using slightly stale bread, leave your slices in a bit longer but don’t let the bread become soggy

Step 3: Quickly transfer the slices to a hot frying pan with a little oil in

Step 4: Cook for about two minutes on each side or until they start to brown

Step 5: Serve hot with a topping of your choice: maple syrup, honey, a sprinkling of caster sugar or even a splodge of ketchup
