Ever wondered how you can make the perfect boiled egg with a runny yolk? Follow our quick and easy-to-follow steps!

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cooking time: 6-9 minutes

Serves: 1

Fill a small saucepan with enough water to submerge the egg completely.

Bring the water to the boil.

Carefully slide the egg into the water.

Adjust the heat to a gentle boil (constant small bubbles breaking the surface).

For a set white and runny yolk, boil the egg for six minutes.

For a hard boiled egg, boil it for nine minutes.

Remove the egg from saucepan and place it into cold water to stop the egg cooking further.
