These sausages wrapped in bacon are a must to accompany any roast or, of course, Christmas dinner!

Preparation time:  10 minutes

Cooking time:  20 minutes

Serves: 6


drizzle of olive oil
7 slices of RSPCA Assured labelled streaky bacon
20 sprigs of thyme
20 sausages


Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan oven 160°C/gas 4.

Drizzle the olive oil onto a baking tray.

Using the back of a knife, stretch each bacon rasher out - this will stop them shrinking as they cook.  

Cut each rasher in half horizontally.


Place a sprig of thyme on each sausage and wrap and roll the bacon round the sausage.  

Place them on a non-stick baking tray.

Cook for 20 minutes.
