The tenth series of Great British Bake Off is starting soon and we can’t wait. We’re so excited about another ten weeks of laughs, scandals, and, of course, amazing bakes.

Once again, Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding will be dishing out innuendos as a new bunch of baking hopefuls enter the famous GBBO tent. So what awaits us this year? More moments like baked Alaska #bingate, Rahul's extra time controversy or Nadiya’s facial expressions, not to mention more of Paul’s infamous handshakes, hopefully. Tune

into GBBO on Channel 4 from August 27 to find out.

We’ve come up with some Great British Bake Off inspired recipes to keep you busy between episodes. From flapjacks and carrot cakes to Battenberg and muffins, there’s a recipe for every Bake Off fan.

So, on your marks, get set...  Hold on! What kind of eggs and milk are you using? Quality ingredients can make or break your culinary creations and this is especially true in baking, as She Who Bakes explains in her article on the importance of using quality eggs in baking.

So make sure you use higher welfare, RSPCA Assured eggs and milk in your baking. You can use our handy where to buy map to find the stockist closest to you.

Now. On your marks, get set… BAKE!

Have you seen our TV advert? It was filmed on an RSPCA Assured laying hen farm in Cumbria earlier this summer.

But what makes RSPCA Assured laying hen farms different? For one, RSPCA Assured hens can never be kept in cages. Find out more here
